I am very sad to read that Patti Page has passed away aged 85. Patti was one of the biggest selling female singers, selling over 100 million records. She recorded lots of wonderful songs including Tennesse Waltz, Mockingbird Hill, Aleghenny Moon and "I Went To Your Wedding". A lovely singer who will be greatly missed.

That is really sad news to hear that Patti Page has passed away John. She was America's best selling singer of the Fifties and we are just grateful that we have many of her recordings to treasure and thanks to you John, some great videos to remind us of what a wonderful singer she was.
She will always be associated with The Tennessee Waltz and not forgetting " Old Cape Cod."

Such sad news. When I emailed her a few years ago asking about her "Stand By Your Man" album, she sent me a sweet reply which showed how much she appreciated her fans. She was making plans to receive her Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award next month. I have 18 of her CDs plus a boxset. I love her voice.
