I missed this on Saturday but Queens Of British Pop is repeated on Thursday night BBC4 at 11pm, I quote "Celebrating female singers who have influenced British pop music over the past 50 years, focusing first on artists such as Dusty Springfield & Sandie Shaw.

Have just been watching the One Show with Sandy Toksvig talking about a play she is doing of Dusty Springfield.

I rarely watch the One Show - however an off-broadway show on Dusty finished recently after 100+ performances and received great reviews,
There has also been talk for several years of a movie on Dusty. If it happens I hope it has the same standard as Funny Girl or Beyond The Sea as both of these films were excellent.
