RICHARD BRIERS

Richard Brier's death has just been announced; he was 79 and had been suffering emphysema for several years. Apart from his famous comedy roles, eg "The Good Life", he was also an accomplished classical actor. A sad loss to the acting world.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news of Richard Briers.
He opened one our fetes for the Autistic Society in the Sixties. He was not just a lovely man but a fine actor too. He will be mainly remembered for the series "The Good Life" and " Marriage Lines. ".

Just a few weeks ago I read of his illness.

Another good actor gone, R.I.P. Richard.

I also heard Tony Sheridan who sang with the Beatles died yesterday.

Very sad news, I was also reading the other week he was ill. Another huge loss.
