I have just seen the breaking news that actor Richard Griffiths has died aged 65. with complications following heart surgery.
R.I.P. Richard Griffiths.

I recognised the name and googled him and I know his face, was he in Pie In The Sky?

Very sad to hear of Richard Griffiths and in such circumstances too. He always seemed such a nice person on Tv, and yes Karl he was in Pie In The Sky. I think that was the first time I remember seeing him.

Very sorry to read this, another very good actor, who appeared in a lot of films and TV programmes. No age either, just 65.

A lot of younger viewers know him best as Uncle Vernon in the Harry Potter movies :) .................RIP Richard Griffiths :(
