DEANNA DURBIN

I see the singer/actress Deanna Durbin has died at 91. I've never seen her films but I remember my landlady, who was an amateur opera singer, said that Ms Durbin was her singing idol when she was young and that she learnt lots from her.

To be honest I thought she had passed away years ago, rest in peace Deanna. I remember my mum talking about her.

Deana Durbin had it all in her heyday. Beautiful voice and looks to match. She was my Brother-In- Laws favourite singer. He has all her music and videos.
