10pm Jazz Divas Gold with Ella, Peggy, Blossom Dearie, Nina, Cleo Laine, MArion Montgomery, Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan, Eartha Kitt & Amy Winehouse.

11pm Legends with Ella Fitzgerald

Lookign forward to seeing Ella & Sarah as I don't remember seeing much of them on tv.

I am surprised at Amy Winehouse being included as a Jazz Diva, I wasn't aware she sang much jazz and she wasn't around long enough to be anything especially a Diva!

Next Friday it the turn of rock'n' roll on the same channel. ROCK 'N' ROLL BRITANNIA with Marty Wilde,Joe Brown,Cliff etc.

That sounds good too Sandra, BBC 4 show a lot of good music programmes.

Did anyone listen to Friday Night Is Music Night last week? It was Georgie Fame's 70th with guests Madeline Bell, Alan Price & Zoot Money. It was a good show, too bad it wasn't televised. Great band too!
