Golly, its that time of year again! It hardly seems 12 months since 'we ' chose the camp cartoon act that was Scooch to represent us in Helsinki. That tactic clearly failed, as a slow ballad won the contest, closely followed by a Sue Pollard lookalike dressed in tinfoil, representing the Ukraine and singing in German!

Anyway, tonights show featured Sir Terry in his usual irreverant mood, aided in judging by John Barrowman and Cary Grant. 6 acts were quickly reduced to 3, but Terry used his 'wild card' to bring back Andy Abraham.

The public then voted and the 4 were reduced to 2, Andy Abraham and Michelle Gayle. Both of these are polished performers with upbeat songs, and whilst I preferred Michelles chances to do well, Andy was the UK publics choice.

Its great to see us sending a serious singer with a song that he wrote himself. Its growing on me already!
