I have just read of the death of actress Briony McRoberts who died when she was hit by a tube train last Wednesday, she is/was married to the actor David Robb.

I haven't seen her for years but it seems Briony also appeared oin Eastenders but I don't watch soaps.

R.I.P. Briony.

I read this too, the other day--apparently she took her own life.

I do not know her, or her name, but a sad way to go.

I agree Marian, a very sad and violent way to take one's life, the speed the tube's come into the station scares the hell outta me.

Briony was a very striking looking woman, you must know her husband David Robb - also very distinguished looking.

I've been reading more about Briony and her husband David Robb who was born in London and brought up in Edinburgh, he was also in Downton Abbey.

It seems Briony did take her own life, poor woman she must have been very troubled and yet her peers all speak highly of her and how vibrant she was. It makes me shudder to think someone would give themselves such a violent end.

It also saddens me to think that so many talented people who give pleasure to millions are troubled in their own lives.
