PHIL EVERLY

Post by karl » Sat Jan 04, 2014 9:46 am

I just read that Phil Everly has passed away at the age of 74 from lung disease, Phil was the youngest of The Everly Brothers.

Over the years I saw them twice in concert, once in the 60's, they had a wonderful unique sound.

Rest in peace Phil and thank you for the music.

Yes, sad to hear the news of Phil Everly.
Harry's brother was one of their biggest fans, he met them on several occasions and ran their fan club for a few years.
I expect his daughter Emma will put something on Facebook.
R.I.P. Phil Everly.

RIP Phil Everly. His son Jason Everly was a popular singer in the Philippines in the mid 90's and released two albums one in which contained a duet with his Dad.

I never knew his son was a singer but Phil recorded a great duet with Cliff Richard called She Means Nothing To Me, it was on Phil's album and also released as a single.
