Madeline at Ronnie's on Saturday night was excellent and she was joined once again by Tommy Blaize who is one of the singers on Strictly Come Dancing as were the muscians.

Tommy besides being an excellent singer is also a very good pianist, his duets with Madeline included You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' and Melting Pot (one of her big hits with Blue Mink). One of the highlights for me was a very unusual arrangement of Abba's Money Money Money, before singing this Madeline said "You'll Know This, Not At The Start But You'll Know It!.

Sounds like a grand time and the ABBA number has me interested. How did their arrangement differ from the original Karl?

It was similar in arrangement to a Madeline cd track called Small Ties Eamon, it was slower than Abba's version, the only way I can describe it (without you hearing it) is mean and moody - but I liked it.

Sounds like a great rendition, mean and moody is what the lyrical content calls for. Although I like Frida's rendition, I thought she could have gone a little more darker to encapsulate the greed the lyrics speak of.
