JAMES ELLIS

Post by karl » Sun Mar 09, 2014 9:04 am

After reading about James Ellis on the Bakers Dozen Thread I think he deserves a special mention on this thread.

As Sgt Bert Lynch (and then Inspector) he gave us hours of enjoyment all those years ago and it was good when he appeared in various films over the years.

I just read in real life his son was murdered as he was fishing from a towpath by a stranger demanding his money, When James wife told him the news he went berserk and kicked open every pub door in the street demanding to know who killed his son.

Rest in peace James.
