ROBIN WILLIAMS

Post by karl » Tue Aug 12, 2014 7:47 am

I just read the actor Robin Williams has been found dead at home in a suspected suicide, he was 63,

despite doing mainly comedy Robin was also a very fine serious actor.

On tv chat shows Robinalways seemed quite manic and it seems recently he had been suffering from depression, this illness seems to affect many fine comedians, it's sad as they make so many people laugh.

Rest in peace Robin.

What a shock when I read this, this morning. Brilliant actor will be very sadly missed. One of my favourite films was Mrs Doubtfire.

Sad to hear this news. A fine actor who was admired by so many. Just goes to show that fame and money isn't always enough to make people happy and content.

Awakenings with Robin and Robert De Niro is an outstanding film, Robin was very funny in Patch Adams, scary and creepy in One Hour Photo and superb in A Night At The Museum 1 & 2.

And will we ever forget Mrs. Doubtfire, that is a classic.

I forgot about The Birdcage, Gene Hackman was priceless in that too.

C4 is showing Good Morning Vietnam on Saturday night 12.05 - that was obviously schedueld anyway.

Maxine I didnt know Robin made a movie called Aladdin I must look for it. Licence To Wed was another good one.
