LORD RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH

Post by Lena & Harry Smith » Sun Aug 24, 2014 11:03 pm

Have just seen the sad news that Lord Richard Attenborough one of the greatest actors of the British movies has died at the age of 90. Another of those memorable actors, the likes of whom we shall never see again.
He played so many different roles, in several war movies, but was probably best remembered for his role as Pinky in Graham Green's " Brighton Rock" and other films like " Miracle on 34th St" and "10 Rillington Place"
He was president of RADA, he won Two Academy Awards, 4 Baftas and Four Golden Globe Awards.
R.I.P. Richard Attenborough.

Genuinely saddened by this news. Always been a great fan and admirer of Dickie, more for his acting roles than for anything else really, but he had many talents which we all know about. Rest In Peace, Dickie.
