Post by karl » Tue Sep 09, 2014 12:13 pm

They kept that quiet but this Sunday ITV at 7pm some of the guests are Alfie Boe & Bryan Adams, the hosst is Stephen Mulhern (whoever he is?).

It's a new series of six shows.

We quite enjoyed the return of London Palladium Show last night. Made a nice change. Stephen Mulhern must have found it rather daunting having to host the very first show. I thought he did well. Alfie Boe was the star of the show!
Could have done without all the flashing images spelling out Palladium Show behind everyone though, we all knew which show it was.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Without the slightest doubt Alfie Boe was the best act. The quick change act and the Two males with the towels were entertaining although I could have done without comedian Alan Davies who only survives on smut and being vulgar. Stephen Mulhern done well considering he had a lot to live up to, but apparently the comperes change each week and we can at least look forward to Bradley Walsh when he does his stint. :)
How times have changed the way they pick the prize winners from the audience . My memory recalls a spotlight shining all round the theatre until it finally rested on the lucky winners face

After all that I forgot to set the recorder as I was away all weekend, hopefully I can see it on the I-Player but I think Alfie Boe should have been top of the bill.
