I wonder if L&H knew the retired singer who was a contestant on last night's Chase. Can't remember his name

He had a good personality and a Des O'Connor tan and said he had worked with both Bob Miller & The Millerman (I remember that name) and Ray Davies & The Button Down Brass at least I'm sure that was the second one - I know of them too.
