I was sad to hear the death on April 19th of French singer Richard Anthony on Brian Matthew SOTS this morning.
Over the years I have bought several cd's by Richard who had a most pleasant voice. Richard recorded several of Dusty's songs in French, English & Italian and also Cilla's You're My World in French.
The record played today was If I Loved You from Carousel sung in English and was a hit for Richard in t he UK.
Rest in peace Richard.
