Today was Jackie Trent's birthday, my request was not played on SOTS yesterday- hopefully next week!

A nice complimentary article on Jackie by Jim Brooks in our "In Tune" magazine that arrived today, who described her as one of our very best British female singers.
Well for a start in May 1965 the song "Where Are You Now My Love " composed by Jackie and Tony Hatch became a hit and replaced the Beatles "Ticket To Ride " as UK' Number One.
