THRILLER THE MUSICAL

I was at yesterday's matinee, slightly out my comfort zone as I was never a huge Michael Jackson fan, preferring his earlier work.
At the start I didn't care for it much but I liked he second half better.
The band was really good but really L O U D especially the drums and bass, lighting and effects were fantastic and when they did the Thriller scene that was amazing. The moonwalks were also good to see live and the other thing they do where they all lean forward, all these things received a cheer.
The Festival theatre is large with the biggest stage in the UK so it was good to see it packed with a very enthusiastic audience many wearing a silver sequined glove (and some of them were middle-aged women)!
