Surprised no one has yet mentioned the sad passing of Prince yesterday

..........Prince will not be everyone's cup of tea on here, but he was a mega star in the 80's and 90's and recorded lot's of famous hit songs

............he was a prolific song writer claiming to write a song every day, which takes some doing

...............RIP to the very very talented Prince

Yes, another shock Robert. Not really my kind of music, but he had enormous talent and will be hugely missed by his fans worldwide. And 57 is no age at all.
R.I.P. Prince.

I liked a few of Prince's albums and songs but not all. It is sad that he passed away, but everything from social media to tv etc is about him. A little is ok, but it's a little overkill with what they are doing. Here where I live one of the parks shined purple lights on the fountain so it would symbolize "Purple Rain". I felt like saying enough already. I went to a record store to pick up some dvd's I special ordered and news crew was there wanting to interview me about Prince and if I was there to buy his music, and when I said I wasn't a fan and no I wasn't buying his music just because he died, they seemed shocked. So ha ha, I didn't get interviewed. My friend who's the manger told them, yes not everyone is a Prince fan and doesn't buy his music as it hasn't sold in quite awhile.

I agree Eman. Too much coverage. I got so tired of hearing Purple Rain, Raspberry beret, and When Doves Cry. Not once did I hear my favorite The Most Beautiful Girl in the World, which was his last biggest single. This bothered me. I also expected to hear I Feel for You, but that also wasn't mentioned or played.
