Does anyone listen to this show? Couldn't see a thread for it so decided to create one. It alternates with Don Black's in the 11:00pm to midnight slot on Radio 2. It has a similar format - classic easy listening/crooners/"our kind of music" approach, but, dare I say, perhaps a little bit more sophisticated than Don's show, with more unusual performers and tracks featured (as well the more familiar). This week Moira profiled the late Vic Damone while next week focuses on the work of Keely Smith. Well worth a listen.

In past Don Black posts I have mentioned that I do not like Moira's programme, too many Bluesy and Jazz songs.........but she does play some of easy listening songs I like.............a while ago she played Matt on her show

.............I might give it a listen this week for Keeley ............thanks for the heads up Jon

Listened to Moira's programme tonight, some lovely Keeley Smith songs

............an improvement has been made to the show.......but Moira seems to play more obscure songs by singers, which isn't a bad thing ...............but I just cannot seem get into her listening groove

Hi Robert
I quite like the different approach of Moira's show: it's good that it isn't a facsimile of Don's. Last night I started to listen to it but then fell asleep and missed virtually the whole programme! I'm going to catch up with it on iplayer.

In the past I have listened and enjoyed Moira Stuarts programmes and enjoyed this one also.
Just nice to know there are still enthusiasts out there for our kind of music.

Moira played Matt on her show on the 6th of May with Gonna Build A Mountain.
