MARTY WILDE

Post by Sandra » Sun Apr 03, 2022 9:21 am

What a trouper.A two year delayed tour. We finally saw Marty Wilde perform last night to a near full auditorium at Retford.
Now 83 the body is slightly slower but the voice is still there. With the accompaniment of his fabulous Wildcats he had us singing along to loads of 50's 60's hits as well as his own and some new stuff .He reminisced of course and we loved it all.
He sang Jezebel to perfection. One of the last great British rock and roll survivors.

When I saw Marty's name I thought the worst but glad it was about a concert.

I saw Marty some years ago and he was great.
