Sad to hear pianist Peter Nero passed way on July 6th at the age of 89. I first heard Peter on record playing Soulful Strut which was recorded as Am I The Same Girl by Dusty Springfield and also Barbara Acklin.
I bought many of Peter's albums over the years and saw him in concert at the South Shore Music Circus, Cohasset Massachusetts.
