Dennis Lotis a successful singer and actor in the UK in the 50’s (born in South Africa) passed away on 8 February this year aged 97 ….. Dennis was mentioned by Sir George Martin in one of Matts Videos/DVDs as a possible rival to Matt for something which I cannot remember but maybe to do with Peter Sellers (Fred Flange) ? …….RIP Dennis ……have been listening to some of your recordings on YouTube tonight

I liked Dennis, a very under-rated singer. he made a nice album with Dorothy Squires called "Cheese 'N WIne" - 97 years old that is some age. Rest in peace.

I remember reading that he had passed away at the time. R.I.P. Dennis.

He was exactly one month away from his 98 th birthday when he passed away and as you say Karl he had a good singing voice
