Just one final bit from Vegas. Donny and Marie were top bill at the
Flamingo Hotel.

I saw Marie Osmond on CNN about 6 months ago. She was recently
divorced and has several children now. She also revealed that her
mother - a great driving force behind the Osmonds - recently passed away.

Anyone else a fan of the Osmonds? Their single "Don't love me for fun"
was the first 45rpm I ever owned and I played it to death !

We remember very well Catherine when Donny was a heartthrob here with the teenagers with his recording of "Puppy Love " and Maries.. "Paper Roses"
They certainly believed in large families didn't they.
Donny is a father to Five sons and now a Grandfather to Two i believe.
Donny was here quite recently and appeared on tv several times including hosting a quiz programme. Can't remember the name of it though.

Doesn't he still look great too?!!

Donny is still recording and has done some really nice cds, and he is often over here doing concerts either on his own or with his brothers--and he is by far the best looking of the Osmond Brothers--and much better looking than when was younger.

Marie actually has about 7 or 8 sons-a really large family--when she was on "Dancing With the stars" [the US version of Strictly], they showed her family--and during that time her Father died--or it may have been her mother--this was not the most recent series, but the one before. On one show she caused a stir by spectactuarly fainting , while the judges were passing their comments---but apparently it was something that often happened---as she would forget to breathe !!!!

That's what happens you have have 8 children Marian

I will keep that in mind !!
