THE ANDREW SISTERS.

We watched "THE ANDREW SISTERS" on BBC4 on Friday, enjoyed it except for too much un-necessary talk and not enough of their music.
They were a fantastic harmonising trio and had a wonderful career, and many of their songs that they sang during WW2, they made their own....
"I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time " The Boogie- Woogie Bugle Boy" "Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree" "The Beer Barrell Polka."
Sadly, unlike our Beverley Sisters who are as close today as when they started their career, there were rifts, and at one stage there were just Two of them singing together while Patti went solo, then reunions, but it wasn't to last, but they certainly made their mark all around the world with their great music.
