Charles Tingwell R.I.P.

The Australian actor Charles "Bud" Tingwell has passed away aged 86. He made many films in the U.K. appearing as Inspector Craddick in the Miss Marple films alongside Margaret Rutherford in the early 60's, plus televsion series including Emergency Ward 10. He returned to Australia in the 70's and appeared in many programmes including Neighbours, and was working up until a couple of weeks ago. He is to have a state funeral in Melbourne.

I remember Charles Tingwell very well from his numerous tv appearances, even as far back as Emergency Ward 10.
An excellent actor. He will be sadly missed .

Just been on Google Images to see Bud, and yes he was a very familiar face on TV, just his name didn't ring a bell with me
I remember seeing him in Neighbours not so long ago

Very sad to hear the passing of Charles Tingwell. We remember him as far back as Emergency Ward 10 too, and in so many roles since.

Sorry to hear this. I particularly remember him as the Inspector in the Miss Marple films, which I've always enjoyed. But 86 is a good innings. R.I.P., Charles.
