Good teatime programme each evening 6:30pm BBC TV TWO-Flog It presenter Paul Martin invests viewers money to make a profit. :D

I like Paul Martin and Flog It, and Bargain Hunt, but feel we are almost getting to saturation point with Antiques and Money programmes now, whereas a while ago it was all D.I.Y and gardening, oh and of course, cooking! :D
I might take a look at this one though.

I totally agree-stopped watching CASH IN THE ATTIC but because Paul Martin is so likeable,FLOG IT seems slightly more acceptable. New programme coincides with our NEWS profgrammes so is a welcome relief.
New prog.is only half an hour.
Shows like these are quite lucrative for the BBC as they are sold on to'DAVE','YESTERDAY','UK LIVING'and lots of overseas stations.

I watched most of tonight's programme Mark, but in between getting dinner ready and bringing in the washing, I missed some parts.
I think I learned not to buy garden items from dealers in Hungerford!
I also would have liked to have tried to raise the money myself, or at least go along with Paul, as the couple concerned seemed to miss out on all the action.

We've had Paul Martin's programme on each time so far but each time it's co- insided with kitchen duties. I'm slipping up somewhere. :) :)

Put a telly in your kitchen-
I've bought&sold for years-so I know the scene. Of course,Paul has built up lots of contacts and knowledge but I guess it doesn't harm having a full TV production team along. As long as we remember it's primarily entertainment and not to try it onesself, then it's OK.
Some nights he makes a real 'killing'other times a small profit. I cringed when he bought those awful pie dishes shaped like hens-he was lucky to sell'em at any price-similarly with the urns&footscraper!-He did buy a superb toilet mirror on an eagle base-I would have given him a profit on that one.
More next week :D
