I was sorry to read the news of the death of Edward Woodward aged 79.
As well as his enjoying his acting performances he was also a good singer.
R.I.P. Edward.

Edward Woodward was a big favouite of George-especially his singing-at one time we had quite a few of his Lps.
Very sad news.

He is the longest word association since my earlier years...Woodward-Callan-Lightbulb
R.I.P.

(If they ever thought of re-making Callan, would an eco-bulb have the same impact? I think not!)

Sad to hear of Edward Woodwards passing. A fine actor and a good singer. We have several albums of his music.
A favourite is the Edwardian Woodward.

Sad indeed. I vaguely remember Callan from the 70s but I don't think I was old enough to "get " it; seemed a bit too adult for me at the time. He was also a singer of course, with an OK voice. R.I.P, Edward.
