Strange to be mentioning this show after it is all over, but I guess we missed it out this year. I couldn't find a previous thread anyway.
I think Hayley was a worthy winner last night, and has been favourite from the start. Gary did rather "over-milk the kid card" as Jason commented. He was good too though.
Keiron had probably made the greatest journey and came a well deserved third place.

Have to admit, we haven't been hooked on to watching this series this time, started to bore me, but I watched it last night to see the final, and in between listening to Russell Davies, fell asleep before the end so I've learned the result from you Marian. Thank you. I am not surprised at the verdict though.

I think it has been mentioned briefly somewhere else--I have not been watching it every week-but if Hayley had not won, it would have been a Travesty-I could watch "Jai ho" [or whatever it is called], over and over-it fascinated me.

It is a song from the film Slumdog Millionaire Lena, and Hayley and Dan did a wonderful routine to it earlier in the contest getting 5 sixes and again in the final last night.
Here's some info about the song..
"Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" is the fifth single from the Pussycat Dolls' studio album Doll Domination 2.0. It was a considerable hit reaching number 1 in Finland, Ireland, Australia, Greece, and Turkey.

I've just looked it up on YOUTUBE, and i've a feeling that Slumdog Millionaire is on the tv over Easter. We haven't seen this film so may try to watch it.

"Slumdog MNillionaire" was on Tv fairly recently-but I did not get round to seeing it--will definately try if it is on again.
