PATRICIA NEAL.

American actress Patricia Neal has passed away at the age of 84.
She was a great actress, but certainly had a turbulent life in many ways.
(I met her here in the late Fifties when she visited a cinema where i worked.)

Interesting to see that you met her Lena.
She was married to writer Roald Dahl for many years wasn't she?

Patricia Neal had such a
deep voice
her grandaughter Sophie Dahl presents a cookery show on TV

I was quite surprised ,as i thought she had died many years ago--I remember her being very ill at one time.

She was very ill, it was the late fifties or early Sixties when she had recovered from a serious stroke and the premier of her film ( can't remember which one.) was being shown at the cinema in Maida Vale.
I found her earring on the floor of the cinema which she had lost during the film,and she thanked me.
