The book is fantastic, a real masterpiece! I was moved to tears whilst reading the forward.
It is beautiful , comprehensive and unputdownable !
It has to be the biography of the year !

Best Regards,

Catherine

I received my book on Friday--excellent and prompt service from Titan. The book is so impressive, I cannot imagine how Michele felt on seeing it for the first time. I love the idea of the photos on the inside covers--instead of lots of blank space.

I have not got round to reading it yet-just a little flick through--but I read the forward--which I could relate to, as I lost my own dad at 56, in similar circumstances when I was 20. It is such a difficult and personal subject to write about , and I found it very emotional.

I also looked at some of the credits and was delighted to see some of my Forum friends listed---John Higton, Paul Hayes, and Maian and Peter Down---I am so proud of you l---plus any others who are listed, but maybe I did not recognise your surnames--I am sure that you all added in your own way, to make this book spellbinding--as I know it will be, when I start.

I can see now why it was such a mammoth task for Michele, and I am so glad she had Richard to help out--you have both done a fantastic job. I hope that the book receives all the success that it deserves.

It was wonderful to see Michele on BBC "Breakfast" this morning. I only caught the last 5 minutes (I will have to see if it goes up on the BBC iplayer and watch it all).
I was so pleased to receive the email telling us about the book. I received my copy within 2 days of ordering it. An excellent and first class service from Titan. I am reading it every day!
After work on Friday nights I used to go round to my friend's house for a glass (or two!) of wine. It was our "end of the week treat". We ALWAYS listened to Matt's greatest hits CD. I think it was a W H Smiths "Special" CD now no longer available. We must have done that every Friday for about 12 years. We never got bored of listening to Matt's beautiful voice and we knew the order of the songs on the CD. Once my friend put the CD on "shuffle" which completely threw me as I knew when it got to "Yesterday" it was time to go home!
