Hi Michele,

We would like to say thank you for the wonderful evening we had at Ronnie Scotts. It was really good to meet you after we have corresponded for so long. The evening also gave us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to our friends from the forum and we were able to offer our thanks personally to Richard for all his expertise and hard work.

We also enjoyed Matt jnr's performance especially his new song which will definitely be one to add to the collection and to give him our assurance that we will be seeing him on his UK tour.

We knew you had worked incredibly hard bringing this project to fruition but to read about it in February's Newsletter actually took our breath away. We feel sure that you will now be able to take comfort in the fact that you gave us all a fabulous evening to remember and the icing on the cake was having you, Matt Jnr, Colin and Richard sign our Special Reserve copy.

We have started reading the book and wish we could take the phone off the hook and not answer the door so that we could read it undisturbed but that's just wishful thinking.

We were sorry to hear about your mum not being well enough to join in the celebrations in person and just want to give her our thanks for making all this possible by her unstinting support to Matt throughout his career.
