Thanks for letting us know Marian, as off hand I couldn't remember who actually sang the song in the film :) .............but I do remember Bob Eberly sang the song - So Long Sarah Jayne....... while Ellie is doing the lasoo scene :)

I know Star Eyes as a jazz standard popularized by Charlie Parker. I have a recording by Anita O'Day, which is fantastic.

For The Rare Monro, Michele asked the forum members to fill in the missing gaps for the composers. Seems as though we may be a better resource than MCPS.

On the subject of missing composers, Harold Adamson should be listed along with Victor Young as the songwriters for "Around The World" on The Complete Singles Collection. Perhaps this can be rectified for a second print run.
