Hi All,

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not but Matt Jnr will be the very special guest of Roger Day on his radio show tonight.

Roger's show starts at 7pm and I think that Matt Jnr will be on sometime between 7-8pm.

To find the show go to www.radiooxford.co.uk or radio Berkshire/Kent/Southern Counties or radio Solent.

If you don't catch the interview live tonight don't worry as you can use the listen again feature anytime within the next 7 days and the Roger Day show will be there until next Monday! :D

Hi Lena and Harry,

Yes it was a shame that Matt Jnr. was unable to guest on Roger's show last night. The good news is that Roger did play two great songs by Matt Senior on his show. :D :)

Hi All,

Matt Jnr. was the special guest of Roger Day on his radio show last night.
If you would like to hear the interview plus three songs by Matt senior, then please visit the web sites of radios Oxford/Berkshire/Kent/Southern Counties or Solent.

The listen again feature is there for the Roger Day show and the interview will remain on site for 7 days. The chat with Matt Jnr. was about 45 minutes into the show.

It was a good one and Roger seemed to know about Matt's music and did say more than once, that our Matt was a really nice man and that he loved his music. :D :)

Sorry to have missed it, but thanks for the info Hilary. Hope to "listen again" later today. Not between 3 and 4p.m though, when Matt Jnr is on Alan Titchmarsh on ITV.

Just watched the Alan Titchmarsh Show. Disappointed Matt Jnr wasn't given more time to sit and talk before his song, but enjoyed the music.

Yes , we thought there would be more time given specially as we were shown Matt Senior's clip at the very beginning of the show.
Matt Jnr looked and sounded great, and although talking of his tour and his CD had to be hurried somewhat it was still nice to see him on the show.

Matt's Show at The Beck.
Very entertaining show. Matt's own songs in his own style are a good selection and sung well, and the band were excellent we thought.
Of course, the great man Colin Keyes, is in a class of his own.
We weren't particularly impressed by the addition of the girl singers/"dancer." They were rather too powerful for us I'm afraid.
Just a suggestion here, that Matt's show could be interspersed with some film footage of Matt Senior actually singing his own songs. I think this would be an added attraction for he audience and bring even more people in, most of whom are Matt Monro fans.
After all, look at the success the Sinatra Show was recently in London.
Marian & Peter.

With film clips, nice though that idea is the problem is that it is very expensive to do. First of all there is the hire of a projector. This would have to be very high powered to do the job as it would have to fight with the stage lighting! this would be even more expensive (and they are not always reliable!).

The other problem is copyright clearence. Every time a clip is used for public performance a fee would be payable to the copyright holder. Most of the time this is at an extortionate rate too! One company wants £1000 per minute for instance!
