Matt Jr - St George's Hall, Bradford

My wife and I saw Matt Jr play Bradford earlier in November, we are both in our 30's and so had never seen Matt Snr sing live, but we were so looking forward to the night for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the music. To hear the wonderful music played 'live'.
Secondly, due to the fact that we have a young family, it was to be our first night out together as a couple, for 3 and a half years.
And we loved the evening. Every minute. It was also a thrill to meet Matt Jr after the show.
My wife cried through most of the show, (mainly because she knew how much the night meant to me - I adore Matt Monro's music - and also because it was nice to be 'together' for a couple of hours in such a lovely 'atmosphere') - and I managed to hold out until 'We're Gonna Change The World' and then I started crying too!
It proved just too much for me to hear the sound of Matt Snr's voice ring out in a theatre, to picture father and son singing together and the fact that this song is my children's favourite (Holly 3 1/2 years & Cate 1 year old - are they the youngest Matt Monro fans in the world?). We dance around our home singing 'We're gonna change the world!' at the top of our voices.
So it was a brilliant night and I shall never forget it, for so many reasons.
Just thought I would share this with you all.
