I just read Matt Jnr's blog on the website. It's fascinating to read all about the 2006 tour and the upcoming tour to the Philippines and the busy 2007 ahead for him.

Everyone: Be sure to read it!

I completely agree Paul. Really interesting to learn all the ins and outs of being on tour - not all cushy and glamorous is it?
I'm sure we all wish Matt Jnr every success for his Phillippines concerts, and safe journeys both ways. We'll be thinking of you.

Terrible news last night of the typhoon there, which devastated several villages.

Marian.

I could not miss the last performance of Matt Jnr, especially as it was in my home town of Chesterfield. and what a performance, I persuaded my daughter to accompany me as my husband David could not, and in her own words was `Blown away` by Matt Jnr, having not heard to much of Matt Monro's music, she recognized a lot of the songs. and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and was so delighted to meet Matt Jnr after the show, and to get two kisses on the cheek from him, really made her day. I wish him a safe journey to and from the Phillipines and very much look forward to seeing him again in the future.

We are sure Matt will be more than welcomed in the Phillipines Kimberley. Particularly those who remember Matt's Dad with a great deal of affection We have all seen the pictures of the tremendous welcome that his Dad Matt received on his arrival at the airport there all those years ago, and the warmth and appreciation shown at those fabulous concerts.
We are in no doubt that Matt Jnr will have a very similar impact on these sincere people. :) :)
