If possible, could you provide us the set list from your Al Martino concerts? I enjoy seeing the songs sung and their sequence. I hope he sings To The Door Of The Sun.

We will certainly let you know the set list that Al sings Paul. There will be the predictable songs, but he did varys some of them at different concerts when he appeared here last time.
"To The Door Of The Sun" is also one of our favourites.

Well, we had a great time seeing Al last night at Southend singing as good as ever some of the usual favourites and adding one or two not so usual songs. These, as happened with his last tour could possibly change at the different venues.

Paul, The first number One on the list included two songs in on.
1. Fly Me To The Moon and Let's Get Away From It All. / 2, Love Is A Many Splendoured Thing./3.How Deep Is The Ocean./ 4 Where Or When./ 5.Once Upon A Time./ 6.Goody Goody.
/ 7.A Time For Us./ 8. Mary In The Morning./ 9. I Love You Because./
10. I Love You More And More Every Day./ 11. I Can't stop Loving You./12. Vaya Con Dios./ 13. Spanish Eyes./14. Strangers In The Night./15.The Godfather Waltz.( Come Live Your Life With Me)./16.Speak Softly Love./ 17. I Have But One Heart./ 18. Al Di La./ 19. Volare./20. Here In My Heart.
What a great performer, and for a man who is nearly Eighty and has had one or two quite serious problems this last year with a broken foot and a shoulder injury.
It certainly hasn't changed his vocal chords though.
Oh and it was kisses and hugs from Eric Hall who was there last night to see Al and interviewing in the bar and foyer. He's a lovely character.

That sounds like a wonderful programme of songs there--no need to ask if you enjoyed it.The "Godfather Waltz" is not often heard, but it is a really lovely tune---I know I have it somewhere---maybe sung by Vince Hill, I am not sure at the moment, it is so long since I heard it.

And I just love "Volare"---but a very very nice selection.

Another fantastic night with AL at Croyden. We were both invited up to to see Al in his rest room for a chat before the show. We were given a wonderful greeting and in spite of his foot still giving him a little discomfort he showed no sign of it in his performance. He sang the same songs on this occasion but it could change
We were in the front row seats with two other fans of Al's who had seen Al on Three occasions in Las Vegas, and whatsmore the agent Derek Franks has invited us both as guests to see Al the Legend on Sunday at St Albans Arena.
John, we will also look forward to your report because we know how much you are looking forward to seeing Al on Monday.

What a lovely treat for you both to see Al before the show--and front row seats too--just wonderful!! No doubt the concert at St Albans will be just as special--I will be thinking of you. A really exciting time for you both at present.

I am sooooooo jealous, Lena and Harry. I'd love to meet Al, perhaps he may mingle a little bit after his performance at Liverpool. What a treat to be able to see him a 3rd time at St. Albans! If you ask me that is just being greedy!   8) :P :P
Joking aside hope you have another great time on Sunday, and if you get to speak to him in person again don't forget to tell him a very young man will be coming to see him on Monday! 8) 8)

Thanks Lena and Harry for sending the programme and the reports from your fabulous experiences. That is just great!

I think To The Door Of The Sun would have been preferred over Goody Goody which I can't stand by anymore, but I love Al Di La and Where Or When. I didn't know one of his hits was Once Upon A Time, what a wonderful song.

Paul, Al sang Once Upon A time in his last concert, it is a superb version.
