Robert-you have reminded me of one of George's favourite films--"Tora, tora, tora," which was mostly all in Japanese-I always tried to vanish when it was on.!!!

Watched a film called "The Victim" last night starring Elizabeth Montgomery, her first role after Bewitched. Really good made for TV thriller.

Watched the DVD Rock and Roll at 50 today, really entertaining compilation of live appearances from 2003

john, I did mention the Rock and Roll at 50 DVD a few weeks ago ...........will you please let us know if it plays on your DVD player, as it is a region 1 disc, I tried in in my DVD player but it wouldn't play, so I have to play it on my PC.........thanks john

Yes, luckily my dvd player can play all region dvd's Robert.

I found that the very cheapest DVD players are the most adaptable to REGION 1-surprisingly!

These days some come already muliti region--my latest one. which will record dvds from VHs, Tv, Sky etc, was converted at the shop for a very small fee.

Last night we watched Rita Macneil in Concert, followed by Max Bygraves 50th Anninversary Concert video. I have finally got around to watching it, Lena and Harry, you lent it me last time I saw you. Good thing it wasn't a library book, I'd have quite a fine to pay now. Enjoyed it though, he was still singing well even in his seventies.
