John's lyric is from These Years, one of my favourite Matt Monro songs and albums.

Here's a new one:

That makes me want you so

Jeff's one sounds familiar to me too--but I cannot place it at present.....

You are correct Lena and Harry. I thought I would stump you with that general lyric. I love the song by Dusty Springfield as well as Matt Monro. I told Matt Jnr that the duet with his father is one of my three favourites on his duet album. I really wish he would add it to his programme and drop I Write The Songs.

Your turn, Lena and Harry.

The lines were so familiar to Pauls song, and then it's getting get the correct tempo that matches the words, like is it a slow ballad or an up-beat number. Anyway got carried away last night Robert reading about Buddy Bregman's career and his encounter and experiences with all the stars.

Here's a line then .......BUT IT'S FUNNY NOW AND THEN.
