I like the tricky ones, Marian. (Please don't listen to the young man from Yorkshire. :)) So keep them coming. I guess Delilah Dingle was just added information and didn't really figure into the antonym. Usually your explanations are so thorough, and you didn't mention Delilah at all. But Rosemary King really makes sense!

Delilah Dingle is sooooooooooooo opposite Royalty Paul, the Dingle family are known to be "common as muck" that's what I believe Marian meant by her "Delilah Dingle opposite"

I'll be cheeky and put in a quick one (sorry, didn't meant to be rude). But it is an easy one "I'm Gonna Run To You" (a Whitney song title, by the way) but that's nothing to do with the song

Thanks for helping me out with the explanation of Delilah Dingle, Robert.

After all that time, I had forgotten she was the first part of the clue. !!

That sounds right to me, so I am going to have a go with this one

"While you were in New York, did you locate Times Square?"

Good Luck, one and all !!

Is it I Close My Eyes And Count To Ten?

Also, all of you know I want to know about all things British. Why did you write "While in ..." instead of "Whilst in ...", Marian? Is whilst only used in Yorkshire? I've only noticed Gray, Robert, Michael, and one of my former cruise directors on the QE2 using whilst. Or does whilst have a different meaning and it doesn't work as "Whilst in Leeds, plan a visit to the Kaiser Chiefs' home studio." I want to use whilst regularly in the US but want to make sure I'm using it correctly; I drive Americans nuts with my British spelling and expressions, but it's fun!

Paul, we understand your question, and whilst means during the time that or at the same time, and while is used as a space of time, all the while, or once in a while, so Marian's clue should have read, as a question, While you were in New York, opposed to a statement.
Sorry Marian, we all know the English language is the most complicated of them all.

Marian, if "The Apple Tree" was incorrect, could it be "Garden Of Eden" ?
