"JOSEPH---ANY DREAM WILL DO"
As far as I can recall Josh Groban was discovered by Barbra Streisand--he is a very good singer.
Josh chose Lee to sing with him , after hearing all their voices , but not knowing who was who. Basically he could only sing with one of them.
From the subject of "Grease"--neither Craigs nor Keiths accent have been mentioned-although it has been said that Keiths diction is not always clear.
But in both these shows are singers with regional accents--Susan on "Grease " has a strong Irish accent, which has never been commented on by the judges--I guess they have to learn to talk without the accent !!!

I just loved the show tonight--really pleased that Lee and Keith are through---I really think that Lewis is an also-ran !! Without ALW to save him next week, i think he is finished.
I still back Lee to win, although I really like Keith's voice.
I loved the songs from the shows--the first one "Jacob and son" with the "Coat of Many colours"--I was wondering if any of them would miss out a colour, but they all ended on BLUE!!!
The duet between Ben and Keith from "Starlight Express" was great, as was the other duet with Lee and Lewis--"Oh what a circus"--Not to mention "I dreamed a Dream "--lovely song.
They all seemed so different singing these show tunes--I wish they could have sung more of them.
So I am really looking forward to the final next week--but I really do not want it to end

We were sorry to see Ben go, Although he didn't have the best voice he had overall natural talent, and as ALW from the the very beginning had said that singing was not the most important thing, and although there has to be some way to decide, why have a sing off.
ALW then contradicts himself. Earlier he had stated that he feared that Lois would break down under pressure, then keeps him in.
It's all helps to make the outcome predictable. We would like to see Keith win but his accent may be the problem, but Lee is so talented, experienced and mature and should win.

I think the reason why Keith's [or any of the other accents ] have not been in question, is that " Joseph " is an all singing show, and the accents do not appear to show up in the singing.
Perhaps Danny R from "Grease" would have been better off auditioning for "Joseph" as he would not have had to talk---but on saying that-he did not look like a Joseph---but he did look like a Danny !!!!

Joseph Any Dream will do

It's all "SHUSH" here when the programme is on. !
I would like Keith to win, give the Supermarket boy the chance.

But do you think Keith has the stamina to do 8 perfrmances a week ??--Lee has been used to performing, and I am sure he will cope.
On saying that I would love to hear Keith sing again---but not pop--I loved him doing the musical numbers--in one of his early auditions , he started to sing "High Flying Adored" -[one of the best, but most underrated of the songs from Evita"--and although he forgot the words, and only sang a few lines, I was stunned by his voice.

I just loved the show last night--I did not want it to end. Lewis sang the best I have heard him sing--but there is just a little spark missing! He sang "Beyond the Sea" well---but not as good as Will Young did, on the Pop Idol Programme--way back !
I think I have heard Keith sing better-I was not so keen on him singing "For once in my Life"--but the 3 of them singing "Maria" was just beautiful.
There would have been no justice if Lee had not won--although I did not like "Paint it Black"-I just do not like the song--but "New York New York" was great.
Plus I really enjoyed John and Denise as judges.
If I could watch the whole series again from the beginning I would.
That is 3 of my favourite programmes gone in I week--"Grease" is now over--"The Apprentice" finishes on Wednesday--not to mention "American Idol" the other week--but I shall miss "Joseph " most of all.
Just one consolation-I have heard that there may be a similar show for "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Evita". I know very little about "Jesus Christ Superstar"---but I really love "Evita"

Hello All
We've been having an amnesty on talent shows in our house - - no Big Brother, Apprentice, Joseph or Grease. BUT I did see the winner of Joseph on Breakfast TV and he seems sound and look right for the part.
'Jesus Christ Superstar' is a totally different kettle of fish - it is a very dark and moving musical focussing on the Passion leading up to the Crucifiction. I saw it a few years on stage and nearly cried at the end, it is so intensely moving and emotional. Joseph is a family show, JCS certainly doesn't fall into that category!
Sorry that all your fave progs have finished simultaneoulsy Marian! C4 have done that too, with Grand Designs, Locationx3, Property Ladder, Ugly Betty, and Desperate Housewives all finishing at the same time to make way for BB!
