Yes Mariana I did see Michael Buble singing on SCD with Darren & Lilia dancing - it was just great.

Glad you enjoyed his live performance Lena & Harry as we hope to go to see him in concert whenever he comes to our area.

I have just read on the Wikipedia updates that one of the influences on Michael was Matt and of course he couldn't have chosen better.

Maureen & Harry :) :)

Yes Robert we found the updates via google. From time to time I type Matt Monro in the google search box just to see if there is anything new and yesterday when I did this the Wikipedia site was the first name that came up so we went into the site and it is really a very comprehensive account of Matt's life and music. The last update which appears at the bottom of the page was the 27th August 2010.

It could be that Wikipedia has had this site on Matt up and running for some time but we have only just found it and it is well worth a read.

Hope you can find it too Robert.

Maureen & Harry :) :)

Thanks for that Maureen and Harry :) I already knew about Matts Wikipedia page (I have even left info on there myself............as they used to have Matts birthdate as 30th December) ...............................I was looking at the Michael Buble Wikipedia page..............no wonder I couldn't find that information on Matt on that page

Yes we thought one or two of the songs sounded like they could have been sung by someone else  ............so we were right John .....................the CD was re-mastered in Belgium I believe, so someone has obviously got hold of the wrong version of the song somewhere along the way :!:........................hope you had a good time John, saw the photo on Facebook :)

Yes, that's obviously what has happened Robert. Yes, I had a lovely time with Lena and Harry as always, they always spoil me. I think I came back a few pounds heavier.

Didn't realise Susan Maughan was still making appearances Robert. She's about 71 now. Very popular in the Sixties.

I expec you've been out jogging every morning since you got back home John.

Playing Jimmy Roselli's "A Beggar In Love" from a 2 on 1 CD. Thanks to John. :)

Just been listening to Al Martino's final cd "Thankyou". This was from his last recording session just before he sadly passed away. Some lovely tracks on this including "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and Roy Orbison's "A Love So Beautiful". :D
