Yes Sandra, Alfie's been getting lots of publicity today, he's also been on 'Something For the Weekend' on BBC 2 this morning, and he was Elaine Paige's guest on her programme this afternoon. :D
You can't get too much of a good thing!

6 months from June Sandra, but he is only doing six performances a week and we are still awaiting confirmation of the dates. We are hoping to go too, and maybe Lena and Harry. Wouldn't like to book to find Alfie wasn't there!!
He's appearing live on QVC Tuesday morning at 9a.m and at The Sky Arts Awards from The Dorchester at 9p.m. on Sky Arts HD1. :D

David Jacobs is playing three Margaret Whiting tracks on his common denomintor tonight :D ...............I thought he would :) :) .....................Russell Davies also paid a lengthy tribute to Margaret tonight along with her father Richard Whiting :) .................Russell did mention Margaret's deep voice in her latter years  .............he went to interview her in her Manhattan apartment not too long ago.........but he did tell us she passed away in a home for retired actors :( :(

Yes, we predicted correctly Robert, and we know the DJs that we can count on.
We rather expected that David would mention that Vic Damone had come out of retirement for a concert last night at the Raymond F Kravis Arts Centre Palm Beach Florida. David is a big Vic Damone fan.
A friend of ours has gone over there specially to attend this concert.
He has been a long time fan and great friend of Vic Damone's for many years
:) :)
We are bound to hear how it all went :)

Yes, that is the question Robert, and we are not sure what the reason is for him doing this One concert, unless he is waiting to see what response he gets from this one, and then maybe do some more, but I'm sure we will get either a DVD or a CD sent to us. :) :)

Was thinking of you a couple of days ago Marian. One of those medics programmes on TV. An elderly couple were at a Johnny Mathis weekend in Birmingham and then husband Harold was taken to hospital after a fall and wound up in hospital for Two weeks.
Obviously happened a little while back :)

Hi Lena and Harry--yes I know the couple well-Barbara and Harold--Harold has been unwell just lately. That would have been the weekend at the beginning of December--that was always our traditional weekend there. I had heard that they would not make the weekend because of Harolds' health, but they obviously decided to go.

They actually live just outside Birmingham, so did not have far to travel. As far as I know , he is Ok now. I wish I had seen that programme.

It was by chance that I caught this on TV Marian, and wondered if you might have known them, but can't remember what day it was on, although only a few days ago. i'l
Harold had had a fall and bumped his head, but he was found to have high blood pressure. It didn't confirm whether they got to the Johnny Mathis concert at all.
