Sir Paul McCartney to save Abbey Road Studios for the Nation

I was pleased to read that Sir Paul McCartney is to try and save Abbey Road Studios for the Nation.
About time too!
I hope then all the artists that recorded there will also be honoured - including Matt Monro.

I'm afraid I don't know any more than a year ago Lana. It hasn't been in the news lately, but possibly Richard or Michele might know the latest.
Perhaps add the question under the heading 'Ask Richard.'
