Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

I am feeling quite sad at the moment--really missing George so much.

It's always sad remembering those past celebration days when loved ones were there to share them with you, but we hope the day will be enjoyable for you in many ways.

It is coming up to our wedding anniversary and I will be alone that day as Peter will be away, but I'm so thankful that I am not alone every day. Thinking of you Marian. :)

Thanks for your thoughts--yes, it is tough being alone-but sometimes more than others.

But I am feeling brighter this morning--opened my cards which cheered me up, I am due to go round to my neighbour for morning coffe, then off to lunch with some friends--come back, open my pressies---walk the dogs, go to my craft group tonight--then that is my birthday over with for another year-thankfully !!!!

Thanks Paddy & John-I had a good day yesterday-despite the weather--a good lunch out--lots of cards and pressies---and in the evening my friend had done fresh strawberries with a choocolate dipping sauce--first time I had that, it was delicious. The day just flew by, which really helped me cope.
