We have been away, the reason for this late posting, but didn't want to let this day go by without paying our respects to Matt's memory, and just to say our thoughts have been very much with Michele and the rest of the family today.

Well it's the 7th of February again, how the years pass by so quickly. Twenty three years now since the very sad passing of the world's greatest singer Matt Monro :( :( -what a magical and breathtaking voice Matt had/has - at least we can hear Matt as often as we like to do and can now watch him perform in concert too :D :D

Our thoughts are also with dear Matt's family on this sad and poignant day. A great loss to the family, to the music industry, and to the fans around the world. A glorious voice still missed but never forgotten.

It is hard to believe it is 23 years since Matt was taken away. My thoughts are with his family on this day, and hoping that they remember the good times with Matt.

I'd like to add my best wishes for Michele, Mickie, Matt Junior and the rest of the family on this sad anniversary. The one consolation we have is that Matt's glorious voice lives on in his recordings and will enrich all our lives for ever.

With Matt in Mind

I would like to thank all of you who have left such heartfelt messages for me and my family on what for us, is the hardest day of the year.

It is always uplifting to know that other people feel the loss as well.

It doesn't make you feel so alone

Here's wishing that all your new year's are filled with music

Matt Monro fans are like an extension of his family. They still remember his death 23 years later. It is indeed touching.
