OK John, a little clue, this song recorded by many, including Jerry Vale
A favourite song that Judy Garland's father often sang to her.
One of my favourites too.

Made particularly popular in the Sixties by Petula Clark and Harry Secombe, also recorded by others including Al Martino.

Is it "Love, This is My Song" Lena and Harry? I know Petula sang it and there's reference to a serenade. :?

That's the correct one Marian. This song was one of Three songs along with "Till " and "Love Me With All Your Heart" that Al Martino often first came out on stage and sang in his concerts back in the Seventies.
Well done.. Your turn again.
