I don't like him he's far too hyper for my taste, bring back Terry Wogan!

Ken Bruce just played Ghost On The Canvas which is the title track from the soon to be released Glen Campbell cd, Glen's voice is as strong and clear as ever so this is a must have for my collection - sad to think he has Alzheimer's!

I preordered that cd a week or so back--quite an unusual song I thought.

I know Glen is ill, and he actually sounds a little different--but at the same time there is no mistaking who is singing. Apparently this is to be his last recording--a great shame as I have quite a few of his cds.

I do too Marian and I saw him in concert back in the 80's with the amazing Carl Jackson.

I think Glen's voice just sounds the same as it always did, strong & clear, his last cd was really good too!

Listening to some wonderful albums by Steve Lawrence and burning them to cd, great singer, great band and great drummer - what more can you ask for?

Just received my Barbra Streisand cd today---but it arrived shattered--well the case was, also the cover and inside was all torn--so it is on the way back.

I don't blame you Marian. Especially with the cover ripped as well. That's bad, especially for a brand new cd. I quite often receive them with a slight crack on the case.

Who did you order it from Marian? As John said I've also had the odd cracked case but that's probably the fault of the post office - was the package tampered with? Maybe the packer just hated our Babs!

A nice selection Eman. Strangely enough I have listened to the same 2 Val Doonican tracks tonight, I am in the middle of converting a 7LP set to cd and those two were amongst them. :D

John,
Strangely enough another couple Val Doonican songs came on:

If I Knew Then What I Know Now/A Thing Called Love

This Guy's In Love With You - Herb Alpert
Love Won't Let Me Wait - Major Harris
Love Me With All Your Heart - The Letterman...

My Ipod must be "In Love" mode..
