STEVE JOBS R.I.P.

Post by hpooch » Thu Oct 06, 2011 7:11 pm

The most influential person in the world for the last 25 years passed away yesterday.....Steve Jobs.....at the young age of 56!

Steve Jobs was the founder of "APPLE" - Maker of the most popular inventions of this generation.... a S.F. Bay Area Legend.
The Personal Computer - MAC Computer, The IPhone, The IPod, The advences in Pixar Entertainment ("Toy Story")
He was the driving force behind all the above products & More! The stock in Apple has gone from $3.00 per share to nearly $400.00 in 20 years!!
If you had bought 2500 shares in 1986($7500.00), it would be worth $1 Million Dollars now! Pretty Amazing!

Tributes have been flooding in from all over the world. What a fantastic man he was, so sad he should die so young, and from such a terrible disease.
R.I.P Steve Jobs. The world owes you.

Sad to hear of Steve Jobs passing. A man who has made such a wonderful contribution to the world.
Sadder still that his money could not save him from this dreaded disease and reward him with a much longer life.

Very sad to hear of Steve Jobs untimely passing away.

He really was a genius. We are particularly grateful as without him we wouldn't have had our fantastic iPods which enables us to take Matt and our other favourite music and videos with us wherever we go.

RIP Steve

Tragic news that this genius has left us.

My niece has an Applemac computer, because she is at University studying graphic art, and apparently the Apple Mac is the best computer for this kind of work--apart from that , I know little about them-but I do believe that Michele has one.

I took the plunge today as I couldn't stand to be without a computer. So after mass I went and bout the IMAC 27 inch with the 3.1. GHZ processor. It's their top of the line model. Easy hook up to Wi-Fi etc..so I'm back on line. Geez I can remember a time when I could do without a computer, now I can't live without one. How times change.

Does your IMAC-27 have a 21.5" or 27" screen? I have a friend that has a 27" LCD Screen, and the clarity & graphics are so much better
than my 2 year old DELL Inspiron PC Computer (with a 19" Screen). The next PC I plan to buy will be an IMAC as Apple devices are more user-friendly than the HP & IBM computers I had before. There are so many improvements in our world that were due to Steve Jobs and
his innovative mind.
How are things in San Diego? The weather here in S.F. was perfect this weekend for "Fleet Week" & "The Blue Angels" Air Show.
We watched it from the Hornblower Ship in the middle of the Bay, and the D.J. on the Dining Deck played 50s & 60s music including Matt's version of "My Kind of Girl" during the "All-You-Can-Eat" Buffet.

Hey hpooch! Mine is the 27 inch 3.1GHz. Yes it's really clear on the graphics and stuff. I just need a faster internet service. Things are pretty sunny here in San Diego. We had the Blue Angels last week. In fact I live ten minutes away from where they had the show, that I could see them fly over my house. Happens every year and it never fails that when they fly over, the car alarms go off. LOL!!

Hi EMan --- My name is Henry Puccinelli and I am a retired pharmacist.. If you go to "Facebook" and search my name I will approve
you as a "friend" as I have some interesting videos of some of my favorite singers including Matt. If you want to discuss
all sorts of "West Coast" happenings or if you want to exchange audio tapes of Matt or other singers like Al Martino, etc.,
just let me know................Ciao, Henry
