This duo had 5 UK chart hits in the Seventies. Here's another line....
" Keep our Love Locked In Your Heart"

I've found a song, but I don't think it is right. It has a line in it ...
"keep my love locked in your heart" which is slightly different from yours, and it doesn't have the first line, but I'm trying!
This one is called "Till I Waltz Again with You". It also sounds older than the seventies to me Lena and Harry.

We can see the similar line in the song " Till I Waltz Again With You " Marian, it was popular for Joan Regan and Teresa Brewer.

Here is a clue and I'm sure this will help you to get it now. ....The male half of this singing duo was blind.

Well, thank you for the clue Lena and Harry. I now know the singing duo - Peters and Lee. Their only hit song I know was "Welcome Home" but I don't think it's that one somehow. :? :?

Yes, you are correct with Peters & Lee Marian, it isn't Welcome Home , but this song was almost as popular
It's a kind of a plea.

Here's one--

And The Stars Look Very Different Today

It is hard to think of a clue--it was one of George's favourites, which will not help much.

And it was a big hit at least twice over.
